The Anticipation surrounding the release of Black Panther was very high and everyone, including me had high expectations. I was amazed at how many people had come to the theatre on the day of its release and nobody was disappointed. Not only was the production amazing the plot and character development throughout the whole film was exceptional.
Ryan Cooger , the films director did an exceptional job throughout the making of this film. Thanks to him Black Panther became more than just a movie but a worldwide movement, being one of the first Marvel movies have an African-American director and a predominantly black cast. Hollywood has never produced a blockbuster this black.
Not only did he do a good job bringing the story to life but how the movie was filmed were exceptional, the special effect and the fight scenes were so well co-ordinated. The way it was filmed and the camera work made it seem that everything was happening right in front of you, thats how real it felt.
I was never a big fan of Marvel because of how repetitive and boring their superheroes were for example Superman, Batman and Spiderman are great but after a while of watching all of the different movies from the same characters you get tired. So its refreshing to see a movie that actually resonates with a lot more people and has a huge cultural significance.
Overall I enjoyed Blank Panther very much and if Marvel continues making movies this good, I’ll definitely be watching.
